Do we still need to take in the theory pass certificate with us to the practical test? I can't remember needing it the last time I took my test but I'm not too sure :/ any help would be appreciated!

It's a good idea to take it with you anyway. You don't need the original copy.

The only reason they may ask for it is if you've held your provisional licence LONGER than your theory certificate lasts.

I've never heard of it being asked for however, since you need to put your theory certificate number in to book a test.

One thing you should take however, if you're taking the test on your own car or a family car, rather than a driving school car, is a copy of the learner insurance certificate. I've heard far more stories of examiners asking to see the insurance papers before going out on personal vehicles, than of examiners asking for theory numbers.
