I am into this girl but have doubts whether our personalities would match up. She has a really good friend since childhood which happens to be a male and I am pretty much opposite in personality to this guy. Should I call it a day and forget about her?

Would she be attracted to someone like me?

Also what does it say about her given her best friend is a male?

?? I'm not sure what you mean man,

I say: go for it, if it doesn't work out, it doesn't work out, nothing to do with her friend choice I'm sure...

It's not necessarily a bad thing your personality is dissimilar to that of her male best friend. Maybe your traits fit what she's looking for in a relationship partner rather than a platonic friend. I wouldn't be worried in any case cos she's known this guy since childhood and nothing's happened between them.

If she's not dating this guy and he's just a best friend since childhood then surely it's a good thing you're nothing like him personality wise as he is surely not what she's looking for, or else she'd be dating him.

It doesn't say anything about her that her best friend is a male, so what? Are we not allowed to be best friends with men or something?

I don't think her male best friend should really factor into your decision.
