I currently study a BEng in Mechanical Engineering, but I am planning on switching it to an MEng, an integrated Master's degree, before the start of my 3rd year.

Does anyone know whether the normal student finance rules apply for a Master's degree, or whether I have to fund it myself?

    Thanks in advance.

You can switch up as long as you haven't repeated any years (and don't need to repeat a year).

You should ask your university to notify SLC of the change to course length as soon as possible (ideally before the end of this year).
