Depends on what the problem is tbh. Pain in the lower/centre back is a bit of a vague description.

But usually when it comes to back pain there is no quick fix, and if you try to pressure your back too much after injury you'll only injure yourself further.
It's just a very dull pain on my lower back in the centre. I can barely walk on it or bend down or reach for things.
and it hurts when you try to twist to your side too etc...

when you bent over you tweaked one of the ligaments running alongside the spine. although its very minor, it can hurt like a bugger.

try to keep your back straight to avoid aggravating it for a few days, do some simple exercises tho - very light bending/stretching.
in the mean time take paracetemol and ibuprofen as per the instructions on the packets.
70% of these sort of things heal up within 4 weeks. 90% in 6 weeks.
Thanks, I better get some paracetemol
