    I say out the word "CNV" then draw out the formula triangle for Conc. = (No. of moles) / Volume)

    Also I remember that Moles = Mass / mr using the phrase " Mr. moles = mass" (mister moles equals mass)

    The equations are often self-evident from the units and definitions.

    aymanzayedmannan and alow, it seems I was talking about dimensional analysis . I didn't know there was a name for it.

    What exam board are you with? For the Scottish Highers, you get a lot of the equations in the data book.

    You can use dimensional analysis to derive the formulas

    Mr = gmol-1

    Mass = g

    Moles = mol
