    Hi,

    I'm trying to get my cardiovascular fitness up to be able to run 1.5 miles in 13 minutes, by September. My latest time was 15.35 (not intentionally making excuses but it was on the back end of a cold). I'm very busy at the moment with exam revision and extra curricular activities, so any tips to increase it ASAP will be greatly appreciated.

    what are you doing?

    you probably want to be doing 3-5 sessions a week including at least a fast session (tempo/fartlek) and a long session (i.e. significantly further than you want to run to improve endurance)
