Colored people's time is an American expression referring to a stereotype of African Americans as frequently being late.

Why are the Clintons so popular with Black voters? usually older Blacks... I don't get it. I'm sure you know that under Bill Clinton the mass incarceration of Blacks sky-rocketed.

Tbf I don't know of the phrase, is it something taken as highly offensive?

Just that in Gambia they often throw about the phrase "Gambian maybe-time" for the fact again that people often won't show up when they say they will (taxis and such), but the locals themselves will use the term humorously.

Irrelevant really but in short, the Democrats today are what the Republicans used to be and visa-versa. It wasn't until political re-alignment in the 60's that this started to change. Until then the South was solid Democrat territory.
