    Hello!

I'm really stuck on what test I should be using for this hypothetical study I have to write about. My idea was to measure the relationship between guilt and accuracy of emotion recognition. It is hypothesised that participants who report feeling more guilty will be better at recognising the emotions of others. Guilt was going to be measured by questionnaire, and emotion recognition is going to be measured by the accuracy of responses to a video depicting different emotions. The participant would watch a clip, and then choose one of 14 emotions from a list of options that they thought best described the emotion depicted in the previous clip. Basically, I can't decide if what design/test I should use? At first I thought it was a correlation, but I would (sort of) be manipulating the emotion shown to the participant? This is probably a really basic, obvious question but I'm just so confused so any help would be massively appreciated!
