    HAHAHAHA!

when i was little i was **** scared of lemurs. whenever i visited twycross zoo i refused to go into the monkey house because they were there.

i called them the 'starey monkeys' and they made me cry!

but yeah, i'll join! i've grown out of my irrational fear and have come to love the screeching blighters

Nice to see the interest. My particular favourite is the Alaotran Gentle Lemur (or 'Hapalemur griseus alaotrensis' is you want to get all technical).
Chats, are you a llama farmer?

I wrote this limerick about a lemur:

There was a young lemur called Ben,
He danced in his opium den,
    He had lots of beer,
    And much to his fear,
He woke up at half past ten.

Can you imagine that. How much of a disaster would that be? I mean waking up at half ten...

 That would be utterly scary and apocalyptic. Or it could be similar to the scene in the Wizard of Oz with the flying monkies.
