My exams start next month, and I'm really struggling to revise. I literally have no motivation by the time I'm home from school. Waking up at 6:15 every morning and having boosters at school means I come home at 5:15. By the time I've got past the school day I feel so drained and exhausted that it's a struggle to immediately start revising once I'm home. I try to read a textbook (before doing exam questions), but I can't even concentrate on reading a sentence or processing what I've just read. Is this the same for everyone? I also am not anticipating to be getting a study leave (I feel I'm more productive without the stress of the school day). I also get the impression all of my friends are revising 24/7 once they're home. Any advice?

People can't work 24/7. If you're making use of your time at school then maybe you're already doing enough work.

Otherwise, the best advice for avoiding procrastinating is to allot yourself a fixed amount of time to relax and then get straight to work after that. Probably don't revise as soon as you come in, at the very least stress eat beforehand!

You get through GCSEs just fine without revising tbh. Nobody looks back on their life and says "wow I wish I'd done more revision". Your school will lie and say unis look at GCSE grades, but they don't. Employers and Unis just want to check you have GCSEs, that's it.

Thanks for your replies! It is good to know that many people are in the same position as me, and thanks for the encouraging advice. I feel like I will do fine, I guess I just panic too much sometimes.
