You know what Billie has, rearrange the equation I gave to find Chris. Sorry just don't want to hand over the entire thing.

Billie has 8. 8 = 2/3 x chris. Divide 8 by 2/3 so Chris is the subject.

No it's 12. Dividing by 2/3 is the same as multiplying by 3/2.

12 = 4/5 x age. So it's the same procedure as the last step.

No it should become larger. It's 12 divided by 4/5 which is multiplying by 5/4.

Try and convert the words into mathematical equations, assign variables, form equations, etc...

Moving this to maths btw.

I create equations from what information the question gives. I then rearrange the equations to find each thing that I need to get to the answer. e.g with Billie = 2/3 x chris and I need to find Chris I multiply both sides by 3/2.
