    Yes, I suppose the few outlets that are dedicated to that are hard to get into.

    If it is something you'd want to get into, you could - for now - offer up your writing for smaller outlets to gain experience (ones that won't be as picky with their entry requirements)? Even if it's for free for now, think of the amount you write on TSR when debating - I feel it'd be managable.
