    Hey,
I recently applied to the AUB halls of residence Madeira Road and was trying to finf out more information about the 'rules' of the halls. What I was wondering most was what are the rules on having people stay over in your room while staying there as I know my friends will be excited to come and visit me in my new home.

    thanks, Elise

I'm not sure about Madeira halls but student halls in general, they honestly don't care whether you're a tenant there or not. You can bring whoever and whenever you want really

"Occasional overnight guests are permitted at the goodwill of the Arts University.Students must not sublet or allow anyone to use their room in their absence."
    from http://webdocs.aub.ac.uk/Terms%20and...%202016-17.pdf

Also remember "Students are responsible for the behaviour of their invited guests, and will be liablefor the cost of any damage they may cause. " - so be careful that your friends don't take the piss and that you trust them 100% if you leave them unattended in halls or let them borrow your keys.
