Hi I'm really stressing out, in fact crying right now, last November I had to go abroad because my grandma passed away and I ended missing two university deadlines, I applied for a extension and got one till the 13th of April (TODAY!!!) unfortunately I pay attention and I thought the deadline was for next month (I know I blame myself), I haven't got enough time to submit my work, I'm wondering what's the worst that will happen if I don't (PS I attend Newman University in Birmingham)

    See page 19 onwards: http://www.newman.ac.uk/files/w3/pol...5-16.pdf?q=565

You can't submit late for an assignment where you've been given an extension. Therefore you've now failed that assignment unless you apply for and receive mitigation or opt to resit and pass on a second attempt.

Speak to your tutor ASAP or your student office to understand what happens next and what you need to do in order to sort this out. A lot of students resit but the more you resit the more you risk having your marks capped so although it isn't usually a huge problem at first make sure you don't get into the habit.

It's usually better to submit *something* on time even if it's absolutely awful than to simply fail to submit at all.

When is the deadline? midday? 5pm? Is there any possibility you could cobble something together in time?
