Imperial Units Metric Maths non/calc

Need to know these for the n/c? CGP says I should learn these but I'm not sure which paper it will be in
CGP asks you to learn everything on the page. Don't take it literally. There are some things that won't come up at all and based on the past papers I've done, metric/imperial units hardly come up.

ye thts true hbk...i hate the way CGP make it seem everything in that book WILL COME UP...if that was the case we would need 4 hours of math time...

but i do occasionally like the witty banter, which does lighten my revision time when im trying to revise the bordom that is maths..

i like cgp but sometimes they're explanations are like magic. they just come up with the answer and dont explain too well

Well all I can assume is that because of the nature of most of the conversions, that even if they did come up, they would be on your calculator paper.
:biggrin: hey well my teacher gave me this list:

8km - 5miles
1m - 1 yard
30cm - foot
2 1/2 cm - 1 inch
1kg - 2.2 lbs
1 litre - 1 3/4 pints
1 litre - 1000cm 3

but to do conversions you need a calculator most of the time :P so hopefully we'll be okay for the next week phew

Thanks for that, also metres to km sometimes comes up. 1000m is 1km for those that don't know 1"k" = 1000 then "m"metres.
