Hey everyone! Im thinking of firming Queen Mary but I haven't been to the UNI or the area. Are the halls on campus? And how far away is it from central London? Also, could i live in intercollegiate halls or is that unrealistic? Are all lectures on site? Thanks, sorry for all the questions!

Hey! The halls are mainly on campus yes! We have a main student village, with some accommodation just opposite the uni, and some at the other end. Central London wise, it's about 15-20 minutes on the tube to Oxford Circus, and we're connected by a 24hr bus service and the Central, District and Hammersmith and City lines. (Also the night tube is going to be in service soon, and Mile End will be one of the stops!) You could live in intercollegiate halls, and I've known many people who have done this. It's a bit more expensive, and you'll have to account for the commute, but really it depends what kind of experience you want. As far as I know, all lectures are on site, apart from field trips, and the occasional one taught just across the road. Although this depends on the subject, as we have other campuses too! Hope this helps! -Sarah
