    Yes there 'The City' - also known as the Square Mile - does exist. The easiest way to define it would be the boundaries of the borough of The City of London.

    Hey butterfly - was that in response to the deleted comment of gangrene or aimed at me?

    There's no such thing as 'The City of London as an extension of london'... There's 'The City' and there's 'Greater London' (which as I said includes half of Herts, Kent, Essex, Middlesex etc..)...
