I'm drafting my dissertation proposal which is essentially a comparison of two emerging narratives, am I right in thinking that this is a comparative qualitative study? Or perhaps it would be content analysis?

And if so, I've been asked to go into detail about the theoretical orientation of it to which I'm clueless on... I know about different political theories but I'm unsure as to what theoretical persuasion this study would fall in to...

Any help would be much appreciated!

Oh, if it helps it's for International Relations
Do you agree with the PM's proposal to cut tuition fees for some courses?
