I would apply for a dentistry course however I can only apply to 4 unis for it and have 1 back up but I have a strong feeling I wouldn't get any offers for dentistry simply because my GCSE grades were medicore and for A levels I don't think I'll get all A*s and A's and on top of that I can't find any work experience.

I've heard that you can get into dentistry but doing a degree beforehand such as biomedical science or pharmacology, if i was to say do a biomedical science degree how would I go about doing a dentistry degree afterwards? Would I even be able to do a dentistry degree if my GCSE and A-Level grades weren't the requirements even if I had a biomedical degree?

There are some universities, such as Plymouth and Leeds, who are more lenient on GCSE grades than other. So it might be worth looking into that!
In regards to work experience - as long as you can do a minimum of 2 weeks, then you should be fine for most universities. Even if this means 2 weeks at the same practice.

Also, there are access programmes such as PARTNERS, Access To Birmingham, Manchester Access Programme, Access To Leeds (and I'm sure a few others) - depending upon where you live and other requirements, you may be eligible for a programme like this?
Do you agree with the PM's proposal to cut tuition fees for some courses?
