    ok then well screw my other post then ^-^ i'll edit this one wait a sec

    so if they lie on the same line then the vector should be in the same ratios

    so we need to find the vectors

     \vec{OX}\ and\ \vec{OM}
    can you work things out from there or you stumped on finding \vec{OX}?

    Eh...A little, sorry! I got through the vectors section of my book without a hitch, then they sprung this on me with no explanation...It's latish for me now, won't be on 'til tomorrow. If you have time (if not don't worry about it) could you just run briefly through the steps of it? Thanks again
