    i have been living in the UK since 2012, got my indefinite live to remain last year. I got admission to study Nursing in the university to start in September 2016. can I apply for student finance?

    Yes. You should apply for your nhs bursary asap.

    on the student finance application form theres no provision for me to indicate my idefinite live to remain details rather is asking for my UK passport number which I don't have . what do I do ?

    You might find it easier to fill out the paper form (or have the paper form on hand when you fill in the online application).

    You declare your indefinite leave to remain status under question b2 in Section 3

    If you don't have a UK passport you should have ticked "no" to that question which would then prompt you to provide your original non-UK passport in Section 2 questions b1 and b3.
