Tips on staying awake, I'm always sleepy and because of that I can't get anything done!

1- Walking (even for a short period) boost energy
2- Listening to music can help decrease fatigue and increase concentration (meaning you can get your work done and sleep!)
3- LArge meals can make you drowsy s try mall snacks (like bananas) Anything high-protein is also good (try eggs, almonds, cashews)
4- Ice water has been proven to be more effective than coffee in some cases (and healthier)
5- If you can get some sunlight
6- If you do use coffee, or any other caffeine drink, drink it slowly rather than all at once as this will ultimately lead to the undesired effect
7- Chewing gum (or even a pencil) makes the body release insulin to deal with the expected food, which gives you a boost
8- With a free hand hold keys over the edge of a chair. If you fall asleep they'll drop, clatter and wake you up.
9- Try napping, but inly for 15-20 minutes, to avoid sleep inertia (when you are groggy after waking up rather than refreshed)
