Does anybody know of any decent Caves/Mountains around the UK? Ideally located within a 2 hour vicinity of Birmingham.
We have began to explore these places as a hobby.
We have done the following :-
Wiltshire Box Mines - The Catherdral
Peak District - Unsure what mountain we climbed, but it wasn't a path that you should climb, then we explored a few small caves. Then we got lost for a few hours and had an 8 mile trek back to the car.
Lake District - We explored a few small caves in Langdale & explored the hills before the wind almost blew us off a cliff.
Kinver Edge - We explored the rock houses & ventured into restricted areas to get the best possible view.
We are literally looking for anywhere safe and for beginners, there is usually a group of 4 or 5 of us. Britain has some beautiful scenery.

Snowdonia National Park is amazing.
I went there two summers ago for a week and I did waterfall climbing there. They had caves behind the waterfalls too.
