Noooo.....Almost everyone gets bloated after meals, quit worrying about it  The models (male and female) that you see on photoshoots haven't eaten (much) for the past day and a bit, and are deliberately dehydrated so they look as cut as possible.

Don't stop eating because of it, common sense should tell you that's not good for you at all.

Bloating is pretty bad for most people I know, but if you reckon it's really severe, what's your diet like? You might be eating some things your body doesn't like much.

This is why I hate the likes of heat and whatever other trash magazines.

They show a picture of someone when they've not eaten for a few hours and then another picture is taken like, just after they've had a big meal and there are captions like "Could she be pregnant?!" and it's like, "Could she maybe have just eaten for once, p*ss off!".

I think it's more noticeable in people who are on the slim side because they perhaps have smaller stomachs which swell up lol. That's what I find with my tummy anyway.
I think things like pasta and bread along with salty stuff like crisps can make you bloaty.Fizzy juice as well.
Are you eating alot of this stuff? If so you might want to try cutting down a little bit.

Do you FEEL uncomfortable and bloated or just look it? If you are feeling bloated all the time I'd recommend seeing your GP.

you obviously appreciate that you look quite skinny in the morning so you know you're not unhealthy. If you do have image issues though, try to avoid big meals. A series of smaller ones throughout the day will avoid this whole situation.

surely 6 months pregnant is sizable and not mere bloating?
I think the OP may be exaggerating a bit...
do u have diarrohea or constipation? does the pain go away when you go to the toilet?

if the problems are really that bad, you should go to ure gp.

If you have stomach cramps/ constipation / diarreah IBS could be a possibility. I'd reccomend you see your GP and keep a food diary to see what aggrivates you and makes you more bloated.

I'm not joking when I say 6 months pregnant, I get a massive pot belly thats like rock hard and I'm sure its not normal. I have a sandwich everyday in the afternoon so maybe its the bread? I don't have constipation or diarrohea or anything like that, I do get belly pains though sometimes.

 ive got such a similar problem....in the morning, u may look at me n say 'omg shes so skinny' but then by the end of the day, ESPECAILLY after my evening meal, my stomach is soo extended as in it starts from jst below my boobs...almost like what a beer belly is like (but i dsont drink beer). its so uncomfortable n when its really bloated it feels uncomfortable to breath. but i also notice i look fatter all over..as in my arms also seem to bloat?! is that even possible cus i the morning they r skinny bt by the end of the day id say they look fat. my face does it as well, in the monring its skinny, end of the day its round n chubby. gross!! why might this be?>? i avoided wheat and the problem decreased but there is still a definite difference between myself at the begninning and end of the day. hmmm
You could have some kind of food intolerance. I would keep a food diary, and see if you can see any correlation between the food you eat and when you feel bloated. If you see a correlation then try to avoid those foods.

If you're simply getting bloating, there's no need to go to the doctor. Some people have hypersensitivities to some food products, like wheat, gluten, yest, egg, dairy, etc, otherwise, they have little or no negative effects. Everyone bloats up to some degree when eating something.

If you are getting other symptoms(diarrhea, constipation, stomach/abdominal pains, IBS, flatulence, vitamin/mineral deficiencies, etc), then you should go to the doctor because its quite possible you've got an intolerance, some of the most common ones are wheat, gluten, dairy, egg, yeast, etc. DO NOT CUT OUT ANY FOOD WHICH YOU SUSPECT IS MAKING YOU BLOAT. If you do have a problem, and your doctor refers you to be tested for intolerances, cutting out certain foods will definitely skew the test. Sure, keep a food diary and keep eating what you usually eat. Have your parents got any intolerances? I think your probability of getting gluten intolerance is 30% greater if your mum has it.

Try drinking more water. Almost all food groups need water to aid in the digestion process, insufficient water makes it harder to digest food, causing bacteria in you gut to do it instead, producing gases like methane and hydrogen.

Its probably not a food allergy. You would react differently. Intolerances are associated with reactions of the body in the GI tract. Allergies are associated with the immune system, so you'd get headaches, rashes, migraines, etc, instead of bloating, abdominal pains, IBS etc.

IBS is an actual illness rather than a symptom- i.e those other things you mentioned are characteristic of IBS. I get most of those pretty regularly, in some form or other, and its not fun!! I suspect I've got IBS, and I think I'm gonna make an appointment to see the doctor asap. One thing I've noticed that makes my stomach worse is strongly spiced or flavoured things. My dad made curry once with two jars of sauce instead of one and within 10 mins of finishing, I had such bad stomach ache. The problem with IBS, is that the symptoms vary from person to person and within the same person and quite often there isn't a specific cause. A food and symptom diary is a good idea though-try and see if there is a pattern.

OP: Go a couple of days without wheat and gluten and see if that has any effect. It does sound quite suspect.
well try to cut out certain foods , then you might notice a difference!

Yo, beach surf babe, sure, IBS is an independent illness/disease/condition on its own, but it shares many parallels with and intolerance in symptoms, and, people who often have an intolerance have IBS, so you could say that having IBS is a possible symptom of having an intolerance.

KEEP MAINTAINING YOUR CURRENT DIET. If you do go to a doctor, the tests that are done (IgE antibody generally) need you to have that food group/product in your diet for them to be conclusive. As a general rule of thumb, most of the allergy and intolerance testing places need you to have a diet with all offending allergens in it for at least 6 weeks before the test, otherwise they don't work and its a complete waste of time and money.

Cutting out certain commonly allergens may not work because sometimes it is a combination. Therefore, it would be very difficult to find out without an intolerance test.

Just go to your doctor. Talk over the symptoms you are having and he will discuss the action that can be taken, you'll probably be referred to a gastoenterologist.
