Time and tide wait for no man.

Or, as partially expressed by Chaucer: "Ay fleeth the tyme; it nyl no man abyde."
The Prologue to the Clerk's Tale (1368).

1) Don't hold onto toxic people in your life, and try to surround yourself with people who care about your wellbeing and enjoy your company.

2) Don't ever think that dreaming isn't worth it, it is, it'll motivate you to make decisions that'll get you where you want to be.

3) Always stay strong to your word and opinions, don't let anyone turn you into a sheep if deep down you don't really agree with them.

Does't matter how much tears you waste on someone, if things aren't going to work out, no matter how hard you try, they're not going to work out. I've cried and cried while he was beside me, when things went wrong. It was hard to let go... extremely hard. I couldn't look at his pictures for months without crying. Every time I hear a mutual friend mention his name, I get anxious and thoughts of getting in touch with him played in my mind. There were times where I'd go back to my room, play out the memories I had with him and just let the tears out. But now I'm fine. I don't cry anymore and I don't get anxious.

I guess a lesson that I've learnt is to let go when you know it's gone.

The most important relationship you have is with yourself. Once you've lost yourself, you've lost it all.

Learnt that the hard way by reaching the end of a long road of depression.

Never give 100% of yourself to a person :nah:
I wouldn't know how to do that even if I wanted to.
