Okay so I've decided I want to open a new bank account as my parents always open my post and read my bank statements and I want some privacy!
I've been looking at accounts with Santander, specifically the 'Everyday Current Account'. Just as I was about to apply it says before continuing you have to make sure you are over 18 and living in the UK which I am. But it also says that you are 'not in full time education' but I'm at uni.
What is classed as full time education? School and college? Or university as well? Because in terms of prescriptions from your doctor I know that you have to pay for them as its not counted as full time education in terms of that, but is it the same for banking?
I considered opening a student account but these said you have to have £500 paid in each semester which I know would not be possible for me.

Full time education is when you're in education for an average of more than 12 hours per week.
