Sadly as hard as it is, there is absolutely nothing you can do.

Reply 2

I would just leave it be, lest you risk losing a good friend.
Get over it. Simply as that.

Agreed.

some of you seem pretty harsh about this. give constructive feedback. sorry i haven't been in your situation, and can't help you.

Reply 8

Have been in exactly the same situation for a while now. Very, very hard. Though I think I'm making progress. I'd recommend you try and distance yourself a bit from them, try and focus your attention on someone/something else if you can.

Reply 9

That's got to suck.

I'm sure lots of people are in the same position.

But there's nothing you can do, that wouldn't involve a row.

Well I'm practically in love with my best friend, so count yourself lucky that it's just a crush...

Well, I was in EXACTLY that situation about 6 months ago. I had a MASSIVE crush on one of my best male friends who'd been going out with this girl for nearly a year.

I'd say let time do the work.

He and his girl split up in January, and I got drunk one night and told him my feelings over Easter and he told me he liked me too. We've been going out 2 months now. In time, you'll know what to do. He's with someone else so he's not available, so just try and see what happens..

sorry its not great advice.....

I used to have a crush on my best mate, but she's straight so blates nothing was going down there.

She never found out, unless my other mate told her and we're not as close anymore so I got over it.

Hope you work it out soon.
