    Hey,
I'm going to uni in September and was just wondering how it all works with parking. Does everybody get given a parking space?, do you have to apply separately for one? Does it cost extra? any information about it really! thanks

You need to pay for an annual parking permit which varies on what kind of vehicle you own or want to bring with you. There is some information here on Derby's website that informs students that you need to pay £270 for a car or £135 for a motorcycle. However, storage of regular pushbikes don't cost anything.

The spoiler below is a direct quote from the website on prices, as of 18.04.16.

There is more information here, which I recommend you read. Please note that according to the current information there are no parking spaces at Cathedral Court, and there may be a waiting list, so you'd best get in as soon as possible when you are able to apply for parking.
