    Hi

I'll keep this as short as possible. I've always wanted to be in the cadets/scouts that sort of thing since I was young but I never really had the opportunity and my parents wanted me to concentrate more on studies.

Anyway now I am studying at university and am fond of the RAF but I don't want to join the reserve just yet-hence I am thinking of joining the Air Cadets as an adult volunteer. This way I can get the gist of things without having to commit long term.

So what I want to know is that has anyone on here done the adult volunteering? If so what is it like?

    Thanks

Edit: Btw I am 21, too old to join as a cadet lol.

    Hey,

I've been an Air Cadet volunteer for over 10 years - love it!

If you're interested in a career in the RAF (or any of the armed forces) then
joining a cadet organisationis a great way to test the waters.

Even if you're not heading into the forces (I didn't) then it's still incredibly
    rewarding.

If you have any specific questions then hit me up or PM me...
