# vector algebra Watch

1. By vector method,obtain the perpendicular distance of the point (5,5,5) from the line through the points (3,4,-1) and (1,3,1) ?
2. you need to find the intersection of the line through the points (3,4,-1) and (1,3,1) and the line perpendicular to it passing through ( 5, 5, 5 ).

Drawing a diagram would help - doesn't need to be accurate. Then a quick method using the dot product may present itself.
