I've been working in the construction industry for the last 10 years and feel I have reached my absolute ceiling with regards to career progression as I have no formal qualifications other than my GCSE's completed in 1999.

So I have applied to a few unis in the north west and been offered an unconditional offer to study a Building Surveying degree starting in Sept 2016.

I'm wanting to hear for people who have undertake the same degree or who are currently doing the degree to find out hoe they are finding it.

Also would like to hear from anyone about career prospects after the degree.

I'm still very undecided as to whether doing the degree is the right option for but I cant continue in my current job as its mind numbingly boring.

    Any advice much appriciated.
