    Hi all,
Im currently deciding on which university to firm after being made offers from: Manchester (AAA), Leeds (AAB), Sheffield (AAB), Surrey (ABB) and York (ABB), all with a year in industry.
I've pretty much decided on York for back-up, but I am struggling otherwise.
Manchester is a very well known university, with a good course and good industry links, plus I live here so I won't have to uproot my life.
However, Sheffield has better graduate prospects (supposedly), is a new city so I'd get the full "uni experience", has a very similar course, and lower grades with the ability to convert to a masters, but the industry links don't seem to be as good.
Any advice? Anything I haven't considered or I am misinformed about? Any idea how each university is viewed in the technology industry?

Do you agree with the proposed ban on plastic straws and cotton buds?
