# Edexcel Statistics Coursework GCSE HELP Watch

1. Hey guys,
I am really struggling on my coursework I have 3 hypothesis and in hypothesis 1 I
have;
A scatter graph, SRCC,

Hypothesis 2;
cumulative frequency graph 2x, box plots 2x

Hypothesis 3;
Histogram

What else shall I do I am really bad. I am assessing reading times
2. Hey,

I can't say much with that much information. It really depends on your hypothesis. I wouldn't want you to post your hypothesis too as people may copy it.

Why have you got three hypotheses? Your coursework is based around the investigation of one hypothesis.

To get to the higher marks in the proposal you do need at least 2 hypothesises ( our teacher said you couldn't get more than 8/10 without it)
Azim101 That looks like a really good start. From the information we have I would suggest perhaps using measures of central tendancy, standard deviation or consider makung the histogram a frequency density histogram as that is considered a higher level skill. You must however not use too many different techniques becauae if there are too many useless calculations / diagrams you cannot attain as high a mark as it otherwise looks like you deserve.
Also, when writing the report the care to ensure you explain the sample type and about the outliers (if they are removed or not and what effect they have on the data).
