As it's the final year of the old Science specification, I reckon the exams will be a lot more difficult this summer. This is almost inevitable considering how easy the Science papers were last year - *cough* the 2015 Chemistry Unit 1 paper *cough*.

Share any prediction papers for Units 1, 2 and 3.

The unit 1s are always easy, im so scared for the 2s and 3s. Luckily they're in mid June but I'm sure they're gonna be super hard!!

There will most likely be questions on diamond/graphite/silica dioxide in c2 and probably a 6 marker on polymers because it's quite relevant this year

I'm scared for the Unit 2 papers (yes, unfortunately, I did pick Dual Award Science).

Predicting stuff for science papers is a complete waste of time.

Just revise everything and you'll be fine!

Focus on what you can control, not the stuff you can't. There is no point worrying about external factors such as predicting questions, will it be a hard paper etc etc - you can't do anything about that, but what you can do is properly revise and prepare so that you are ready for whatever they throw at you

    Hey there guys
Btw if the exams are so difficult then the grade boundaries would be really low. Tbh i don't think the exams are going to be really really hard, though there may be some difficult questions
Also, the 2014 paper was really easy well i thought it was and then the 2015 was kinda easy too ( chemistry unit 1)
Tbh it doesn't matter whether it's hard or easy just revise hard and you would be all fine

Firstly, the papers are never easy; they are only easy because you've done them or seen them, but beforehand you wouldn't have known how hard they were going to be. Or you compare them to other papers...

Unit 1 : maybe a 6-mark on hydrogenation, vegetable oils and their extraction etc.

Looks at the trend in grade boundaries over the years. They keep on going up.

So the exam would consist of hard and easy questions if the grade boundary is going up
