Failed.

Hey guys..
This may sound dumb but I need help. So far I have had my ICT, Maths and Geography GCSE exams.
And when I say I have done badly..I mean it.
I left out nearly half of the paper and panicked badly in every single paper. I need 8 B's to get into my sixth form, and I REALLY want to go there. But Im so worried because I failed these 3 I wont get in.
I cant revise, because I keep on thinking "omg i failed geog" "omg i failed maths"
Im really sad..and am feeling quite upset.
I cant stop crying.
Please help.

I'm sure you're probably feeling gutted about the ones that you've already done; but try not to let this affect your revision or the exams you've still got coming up - those are your chances to get in now, and worrying about the past won't change anything.
Even if you don't think you have enough exams left to do well in and to fix things, can your Sixth Form be lenient or are these limits set in stone?
Just remember that everyone makes mistakes and as your first major exams, GCSEs WILL be stressful for you, but they're not all as bad as they seem and you might find that you come out okay.

Don't worry, exams are just a piece of paper. At the worst you can always retake them next year.

Don't worry, it's not the end of the world if you have failed them, you can retake them. You don't even have to do it at your old school, my sixth form college did GCSE retakes. You may have to pay money though. Speak to whoever's in charge of exams at your school and they can advise.

Get laid - get drunk - get studying

(not all in the same 12 hour period though..)

IIRC maths and ICT are largely coursework - you may infact have done well enough to get those Bs - the most important thing it to not let these get you down and to focus on the exams ahead of you, and to remain calm, so you can do as well as possible in the rest.

exactly. I got DD in GCSE science and I'm going to uni in four months, I didn't have to retake it. I even got to do psychology A level which they usually ask for a B in Biology for. Also, many people did math and english re-takes during 6th form. So long as you have 5 C's they'll let you in, do you think you've managed that?

When you come out of an exam that its,you can't go back so try to wipe it from your mind for the time being and concentrate on the next exam.See the remaining exams as an opportunity to do better and get some marks.Stressing about it will only make it harder to do well on the rest of your exams.

You should get B's and A's with no revision.

^ do that.

Try and channel your negative energy into revision and success in your remaining exams  good luck.

That may be the case for you Chris, but not for me.
If I didnt revise Id probably fail.

That might work for you, but it doesn't for the majority of us!

And I don't think your comment is gonna help the OP

Yup. You have 10 more subjects to do well in. So you can still get your however many Bs to get into your sixth form, don't let that discourage you. I got many A*s but at the same time i got Cs as well. So grades can vary.

Yeah, OP please please don't stress about this anymore. What's done is done, there's no changing it now, the best thing you can do is just prepare for the rest of your exams.

Your school might want you to believe that GCSE's are the be all and end all, but they really aren't. Honestly.

You wouldn't have got accepted into your college in the first place if they didn't think that you were of the standard that they want. Presumably this means that you have great predicted grades and great references from your teachers. College admissions people know these things mean more than just a grade, and that everyone has the odd bad day. I really don't think that you have anything to worry about.

Good luck for the rest of the exams, just keep your chin up and think about how great it will feel in two weeks when all this is over!

Now go have a cup of tea and some choccie biccies!!!!
