PN1 form, section 8

Please help, i'm stuck on section 8. What have people put for question (a), I have a bank statement that states the gross interest for last year, do I put this in the total taxable unearned income box or have you put N/A? Also, for (d) also on section 8 have you left the box blank or put none, as the form says the office will send it back? (d) is asking about any children that will be dependant on me. Thanks!!!!

I put '0' in box a as my bank interest is only pennies! I suppose if it was very high I might have thought about it but I doubt if many people put anything in there! In section d I put 'N/A' as I do not have any children.

ok thanks  Nearly there with the form! If I get the form in on time, will my loan money definately be in my bank for the start of term? My accomodation rent is so expensive...

This is going to sound REALLY stupid, but I don't have to fill section 9 in do I? I have no children... so do I just leave the whole section blank?

Reply 4

Yes, just leave blank.

in section 6 how do i find out my banks roll number

Roll number usually refers to building society (or former building society) accounts rather than accounts from the 'traditional' banks - should appear on any paying-in/record book you may have. Bank details such as sort code and your own account number will appear on your cheque book but I'm not sure if the roll number is on a cheque book from a building sociey. If in doubt - 'phone them up! Most have lines open till late at night though you do risk being put through to a call centre in India!

wasnt the deadline 25th may?

25th of may was for the non-income assessed finance. Income assessed is 30th june

But it is the 29th June for income assessed for new students.
