University for human Geography

Hi,

I was considering doing a degree in Town planning but recently undertook work experience and found out that it is not what I expected. So now I am considering doing Geography as it will allow me to keep job options more open.
Can someone suggest a good university for Human Geography; I am particularly interested in issues such as Urban redevelopment and Tourism. I can bare the physical side but have always been far more enthusiastic about the human side, therefore that’s what I would prefer to specialise in. Any advice would be welcomed

Thanks

LSE is the best university to do human geography
I know that Reading has a Human Geography course, and from what i've heard it's not a bad place - very green apparently! If you want to find other places do a course search on the UCAs website.

I think Birmingham is supposed to be good - it has an Urban Studies unit there which is apparently v well thought of

at sheffield you can choose to do only human from day 1. its a ba geog course but it is basically human geography (thats what im going to be doing - its great!apply there!) . you can also do a geography & planning degree if you like, even if you dont you can do elective modules in planning.
human geography at reading is my insurance - very green campus.v nice.
cardiff does geog& planning, but i dont think their basic geog course is just human. same goes with birmingham, i think you only get rid of physical if you do the geog&planning one.
other places ok for human geography are LSE & royal holloway.
theres also hull, leicester, portsmouth, oxford brookes - all ok, good for backup.
