Okay, I have really bad exam anxiety and it gets so bad sometimes that I can't breathe or start crying (all over my exam paper) So, how does everyone else deal with anxiety?

    That doesn't sound normal.

I suggest maybe seeing a doctor if anxiety is affecting you that much.

    Breathing exercises will help though.

I usually close my eyes when the invigilators are talking through the instructions and try deep breathing which usually calms me down to an extent right before, and I try to laugh off what's going on with my friends just before an exam.

If very anxious though then Diazepam but only in extreme circumstances, I don't like relying on anything to calm me down

Thank you for this, I agree, I'm not keen on drugging myself up before an exam. Or at all to be honest. I know it helps some people, I just don't want to rely on pills. But thank you for the breathing help, that's helpful.
