    Hello,
I'm going to apply for student finance and I've been thinking about one particular part of the application - previous study.
I have ended up my 2years study at a university in Czech Republic due to an opportunity to study here and chiefly what I really want to. However, even though I've never applied for student finance support before, I would like to ask you:

    1. Do I need fill in the previous study section?
    2. If so, is it gonna affect my chance to obtain the student loan?
    3. Is there anything else related that I should know?

    Thank you.

    1. yes technically you should complete all sections
    2. Yes - previous study is taken off your funded years using the calculation:
length of UK course + 1 gift year - years of previous study
If you've studied for 2 years already then SFE will not fund your first year of a UK degree if you declare your previous study

Hello, I have a bit similar situation. So if I understand that right on my case (I have studied in my country for 1 year but did not finish studies and it was a different course) I am still able to get tuition loan for my 1st year in the UK?

Thank you very much for your answers!

Yes you should be eligible (but if you need to repeat a year for any reason that wont be funded)
