Do you believe that this sort of age gap is acceptable?
Bearing in mind that one is just graduating and the other is at sixth form.

It's fine, providing there isn't an overprotective Dad lurking

Two questions: Are you happy and is your relationship a healthy one? If the answer to both these things is yes, then I don't see why it would be a problem at all ^_^

I was 18 and he was 22 when we met and our ages havent really made a difference, it depends on if you want the same things and are of similar maturities really.

Nothing wrong with it. Some people may think its an age gap but if you have things in common I don't see a problem.

I'm 21 and my boyfriend is 17, I didn't go to uni straight after college so we'll both be starting in September together.

Lol yes, I've had vastly bigger age gaps.

Though, the fact that you are even asking suggests you have an inherent problems to sort out, who cares what others thinks.

My friends think 2 years is a huge gap. But I'm mature so it's alright.

When you see uni girls getting married left, right and centre to guys in their mid to late 30's, obviously a 4 year age gap is no big deal. All girls want nowadays is this "mature" BS and they only seem to find that exclusively in older guys with jobs, cars, their own home etc.
