Catarrh is a discharge or mucus blockage caused by the swelling of the mucous membranes.

whatever that means...found it on wikipedia..

Some streaky blood in phlegm/cattarh is normal.

don't worry unless it persists or you start getting chest symptoms like pain on breathing.
