    Hi
I'm looking to book a weekend trip to Amsterdam with my best friend.
Looking to go within the next 4ish weeks.
I'm ok with the travel side of things but just wondered if anyone can give me any tips on good places to go in the city as I've not been there for about 18 months.
    Thanks in advance 😎

Food recommendations: Stroopwafels, Patatje joppie or patatje oorlog, bitterballen, frikandel

Tourist places: Amsterdam, Den haag (The hague) Definitely go to the beach if it's sunny because it's always quite empty.

If you actually care about culture: Utrecht, Rotterdam, Ede (Not so many tourists)

Tip: Buy an anonymous OV card for £7.50 and top it up with £30 for easy travel on trains/buses

TIp 2: Don't walk on bike paths, they are painted red for a god damn reason.

Thanks for the input. We only going to Amsterdam for a couple of days so we won't be going to Utrecht, lovely as it may be!
I understand about the travel lanes for cycles/motor vehicles and trams. I'm pretty careful after a friend was hit a few years ago by a tram👀😎
