What do you mean by 'far-right'? What parties in Britain that 'people' vote for are 'far-right'?

The BNP received less than 2,000 votes in the most recent General Election. If you're talking about nationalistic parties that verge on racism however I think you might want to take a look at the SNP.
They feel the party best represents their views or they do it as it's the thing to do in their community.
For some, they simply have far-right views and these parties align with these views.

But for many others, especially now, it's a feeling of disillusion with the mainstream parties. There's a sense in many countries of the left and right being indistinguishable and promoting the establishment over the interests of ordinary people. Far-right parties focus on how they would help the working-class. The FN in France for example, have been very clever in turning what was essentially Jean-Marie Le Pen's racist cult into an anti-EU, anti-globalisation party which addresses the issues which French people care about. Notably unemployment, immigration and terrorism.

It's very easy to dismiss those who support far-right parties as stupid racists, but in truth the failings of moderate parties are partly to blame for driving people to desperation in this way.

We don't have an influential far-right party in the UK, which is to our credit, but if we had taken the Merkel approach to the migration crisis I have no doubt one would have surfaced.

Because they are gullable and believe the right wing garbage they see on channel 4 and 5 about people on benefits living a life of Riley. They believe that 95% of people on benefits don't want to work and can afford a luxury car, huge plasma screen TV, several cruise holidays a year, weekly shopping from Waitrose etc because Channel 5 distorts reality and makes it look like the poor live a life of luxury, instead of the reality of food banks, pay day loans, sanctions etc and the fact its more like 95% of people do want to work.

So the gullable vote for right wing parties like the Tories in the hope that the will thrash the poor and take away their food, dignity and housing.

A bit like channel 5 trying to suggest they're promoting communism by encouraging the government to thrash the poor and sanction all those on benefits because C5 TV shows imply people on benefits are lazy and live a life of luxury.
Because they're all evil horrible people.

In all seriousness though, people aren't voting for 'far right' parties in particularly great numbers. Parties like UKIP do get a significant amount of support, but they're not 'far right' parties, they're conservative and people vote for them because they're the only parties that are representing a good chunk of people on issues that are important to them.
Far right parties/organisations are the edl, nf and bnp.

They get a few thousand votes between them
