I hope someone can help me. My daughter will be studying in the UK as an Intentional Student, so will need a Tier 4 visa. She has all the tuition fees. My question is the living costs. My husband and her step father is a UK citizen, we live close to the Uni where my daughter will study, so she will be staying with us in our house rent free. We are also happy to cover any costs, ie travel, food, etc. I know that international students need to show £1015 for living costs up to nine months. However, while my daughter will be staying with us rent free, what do we need to provide? Is there any set amount to show ?Please advise. Thanks

    Thank you.

However, looking through the posts, I can see that this is more for local students rather than International ones. Hence I posted my question there.

Can you also make a correction in my title- not Tier 2 but Tier 4.

    Thanks,

I don't have the ability to change your thread title in this forum I'm afraid.

And there may well be parents of international students in here. Chat (where you posted your thread) was even less likely to get a reply, as the forum moves so fast

I've corrected the title. Let's see if a knowledgeable parent replies... if not I can move it to the International Lounge.
