edexcel venn diagram..tuffy

hey,

cud i have help on this qn pls..help wud be greatly appreciated...thanks!!!

3 companies operate a bus service along a busy main road. amber buses run 50% of the service and 2% of their buses are more than5 minutes late. Blunder buses run 30% of the time and 10% of their buses are more than 5 mins late. Clipper buses run the remainder of the service and only 1% of their buses run more than 5 mins late.

Let A, B and C denote the events that Jean catches an Amber bus, a Blunder bu and a Clipper bus respectively. Let L denote the event that Jean catches a bus that is more than 5 mins late.

(a) Draw a venn diagram to represent the events A,B,C and L. Calculate the probabilities associated with each region.and write them down in appropriate places on the venn diagram..

attached is the venn diagram answer from the MS..however i don't get it...

1. A B and C are mutually exclusive so none of their circles overlap

2. the probability of the bus being late would overlap in all of them

3. in the circle in the mark scheme it shows the probability of them being late

4. and outside the probabilty of it not being late

5. and if u add the probability of late and probabilty of it not being late u will get the probability of it being that specific bus

hope this helps
