Hey guys! I am really struggling with the student t- test statistical test for question 2. of unit 6.

Can some please tell how the Degree of freedom is 28 or 30 in this question? When i calculated the degree of freedom, i got 19. Thanks!

Its No. 2) d) but i think you have to do the whole question to understand what's happening. Here's the link to the paper:

In each group there are 15. hence, there will be a total of 30.
we subtract 30 by 2 as there are 2 variables. hence we get 28.
however, there is no t value of 28 on the tables. therefore, we take the closest value to 28 which is 30
thereby, we take the t value of 30.
