# C2 Maths question Watch

1. 4 - 7(cos(2t + 35)) = 0
Find the values for t in the range 0 <= t <= 360

I did it all with the rearranging etc, but the answers in the book say something completely random
2. No but that's what it says in the book. Any chance you can tell me your method? The method my teacher taught me is obviously wrong
3. (Original post by Heisenberg 23)

4 = 7cos(2t+35)
4/7 = cos(2t+35)
2t+35 = arccos(4/7)
t = 1/2(arccos(4/7)-35)
4. Thanks guys I realized that I was dividing first instead of taking away the 35. Stupid mistake
