Its a big hall with rows of stands for each Uni, and their staff ready to talk to you about their courses and their Uni. Plus, lots of helpful presentations about stuff like Student Finance, How to Apply etc. Good opportunity to pick up Uni prospectuses and freebies, and start thinking about all of this before the autumn - ie. so you think about choices, going to Open Days and writing your Personal Statement over the summer.

The guide you'll be given on the day of the UCAS Fair will have lists of Unis that offer each subject. Useful research to do in advance is working out which Unis ask for what grades and therefore where it is realistic for you to apply. A good site for this is WhatUni - http://www.whatuni.com/ - as you can enter a subject and your likely grades/points and get a list of possible Unis. Then you need to check the website of each Uni for details of their course - each will be different even it they are all called the same thing.
