    I've never really got round to looking out for them, but can anyone suggest any good upcoming physics lectures?
    Or places (e.g. universities) in London that have free open lectures?

    You should try theoreticalminimum.com/ It is more high level Physics but very well taught but an absolute genius!

    KCL has free evening lectures once a term open to any level.
    That's the only place I know.

    There are a lot of good ones available on youtube. Try mit opencourseware, there are a few other unis with similar lectures on there too (mainly american ones)
