Herbicides interfere with electron transport by accepting electrons suggest how this causes the plant to die? Is this about the respiration or photosynthesis electron transport chain , im confused as to what to talk about

It's about photosynthesis. The electrons from the reaction of NADP and FADH2 will be taken in by the herbicides hence no electron transport chain, no use of proton motive force and hence at the end the NADPH is not formed and is not the final electron acceptor. Also no ATP is formed from this reaction.
